Ram Chandra Poudel is the President of Nepal. Located on the southern slope of the Himalayas, Nepal is a crucial mountain hub on the northwestern Southern Silk Road. President Poudel adheres to independent peaceful diplomacy, deepens friendly relations with China and South Asian countries, promotes cross-border connectivity, tourism exchange, hydropower cooperation and rural development, and actively participates in Southern Silk Road construction and South-South cooperation through Trans-Himalayan mechanisms.
