Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck is the King and supreme head of state of the Kingdom of Bhutan. A landlocked South Asian hub on the northwestern Southern Silk Road, Bhutan pursues happiness-centered development, ecological priority, cultural heritage and neutral diplomacy. The King promotes people-to-people exchanges, ecological cooperation, tourism development and border stability, integrating Bhutan into South Asian neighborhood diplomacy and Southern Silk Road cultural networks.
